Like many podcasts, Dragonwaves started as a way to share the HKIS home learning journey during the time of COVID-19. Since then it’s expanded it’s scope. Hear from teachers, counselors, principals, students, parents, and community members about their perspectives on the unique HKIS learning experience. Four eighth-grade students formed their own Middle School club and learned how to play in a string quartet. Each individually accomplished in their instruments, the group learned the ropes of chamber music and entered a Hong Kong-wide music competition representing HKIS, and achieved the highest honors in their category. Hear from Caleb, Deron, Benji, and Jayden on their journey.
